8-11 years Mindfulness and Emotions (Zoom)

This course provides young people with tips to look after their well being.
This course will be delivered via zoom over 6 weeks. Each session will be 45 mins. The content of the course will include tips to manage the ups and downs of life, including everyday stress in school and home. We will be learning about mindfulness and how it can help in life and ways to manage our emotions, including anger and worry. There will be a Maximum of 8 children in the group. I send PDF’s prior to each session to print (although we can adapt if unable to print). I share my screen during parts of the session to share visuals and at other times we are on gallery view so that we can interact and I can demonstrate mindfulness exercises. The children are sometimes on mute but also have opportunities to share and feedback. The children also have instructions to make a craft which we start at the end of the session and then they finish in their own time.
