What is Mindfulness?

Mindfulness is the practice of paying attention to our experience as it unfolds, moment by moment, with curiosity and care. It helps us notice thoughts, emotions, and bodily sensations without immediately reacting to them – creating a little more space and choice in how we respond to life.
Over the past few decades, mindfulness has been widely researched and shown to support wellbeing, particularly in relation to stress, low mood, anxiety, and chronic difficulty. Many of the courses we teach are drawn from established, evidence-based programmes that are recommended within healthcare, education, and workplace settings.
Mindfulness isn’t about emptying the mind or striving to feel better. It’s about learning to be present with experience as it is, and developing a more compassionate and balanced way of responding to life.
Ways we work

Mindfulness can be offered in many different ways, depending on the setting and the people involved. Alongside our courses and 1-to-1 work, we also offer tasters, talks, and bespoke workshops tailored to organisations, schools, charities, and community groups.
