Sim is a mindfulness and yoga teacher based in Bristol, offering mindfulness, yoga, mindful movement and retreat experiences to individuals, groups and workplaces.
Her journey into mindfulness began in 2018 while recovering from burnout. After completing her first 8-week mindfulness course and developing a regular practice, Sim experienced the benefits of mindfulness in both her working and personal life. This sparked a deeper curiosity about the mind-body connection and inspired her to train professionally so she could share these practices with others.
Sim is a Trained Teacher through The Centre for Mindfulness Research and Practice (CMRP), Bangor University, and The Mindfulness Network in 2024 and specialises in Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR).
In her role as UK&I Mindfulness Leader within a global financial services firm, Sim has taught thousands of colleagues around the world. She has delivered secular mindfulness programmes across the UK&I, EMEIA and the Americas, including 8-week courses, introductory and bespoke sessions, weekly drop-in meditations, workplace retreats in locations such as London and Birmingham, and online wellbeing sessions.
Building on more than 30 years of personal meditation and yoga practice, Sim completed her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training in March 2026. She now teaches mindfulness, Hatha and Vinyasa yoga, and mindful movement to the public at community gyms and wellness centres in Bristol.
Sim offers mindfulness and yoga retreats, 8-week MBSR courses, drop-in sessions, workplace wellbeing support, and 1:1 sessions, both online and in person. Her approach is trauma-sensitive, accessible and compassionate, helping people build resilience, deepen awareness and develop emotional regulation so they can better navigate the stresses of everyday life.
